How You Can Help

Join us in the fight against food insecurity and diaper need in Greater Lawrence. By coming together, we can ensure that every family has access to adequate food and diapers. Your support can change lives. Each week, Neighbors In Need provides 1,600 families in Greater Lawrence with food and helps another 600 children with diapers each month. You can help by volunteering, donating food or diapers, or getting the word out about what we do. Help us make sure local families have the opportunity to thrive.

Donate Food or Diapers

Neighbors In Need relies on donations of food and diapers to help fulfill our mission. Your donation may directly help someone who might otherwise go hungry or be unable to change their baby’s diaper as often as needed.

Donate Food

NIN accepts donations of unopened, unexpired, non-perishable food as well as fresh produce, even from your home garden! Please include nutritious foods in your donation – we work hard to make sure that the food we distribute helps improve the health of the families we serve, especially those who otherwise may not have access to balanced meals. Last year we distributed more than 1-million pounds of donated food. Donating surplus food to NIN also helps reduce food waste.
