What We Do
We distribute nutritious food and other basic necessities at our mobile food pantries, strategically located in neighborhoods where our clients live. We provide diapers and supplies for families with infants at our Lawrence-based diaper pantry. Neighbors In Need serves anyone who is food insecure or experiencing diaper need with dignity and respect. We are committed to adapting quickly to the changing needs of our community.

Walk for Hunger
LAWRENCE, Mass. – On June 9th, Neighbors In Need hosted a Walk for Hunger on the Spicket River Greenway as part of Project Bread’s 56th annual Walk for Hunger.
1 in 3 Massachusetts Families are Food Insecure
The Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB) completed their 4th annual statewide food access study in 2024.

Check out this recent Boston Globe article about inflation and food prices in Massachusetts. As the article demonstrates, the number of families seeking assistance has grown – NIN has doubled since 2020 – we now serve 1,600 families weekly in our mobile market food pantries.
Soup’s On! 2024
Soup’s On! 2024 Saturday, October 5th at 6pm at the Indian Ridge Country Club in Andover. Join us for our largest fundraiser of the year. Take home a bowl made by a local potter. Enjoy soup sampling and dinner, silent & live auction, music by The Blue Hotel and a cash bar. Emceeing by New England’s favorite weather forecasters and Founders of 1°Outside: Matt & Danielle Noyes!
